Newer mobile homes will have it a little better than older ones. The cheaper particle board sub floor that is so notorious in manufactured housing is not a good foundation for tile. This is not a job for someone that has never used a hammer. If you cut it as close as possible to the wall with a razor cutter there won t be any big mess.
